According to the Program, and as part of the activities to mark the 75th anniversary of the Ensemble of Folk Dances and Songs “Orce Nikolov” from Skopje, was prepared “Exhibition of photographs” on PVC canvases on roll banners, under the motto “75 years more than dance and song.”
The exhibition was promoted on November 23 in the lobby of the “National Opera and Ballet” within the manifestation “Autumn Music Festivities”, organized by the Directorate of Culture and Arts of the City of Skopje, respecting all protocols for the pandemic by the competent institutions.
It was exhibited for a long time in the lobby of the “National Opera and Ballet” in order for the visitors to see the concert activities that were realized in the “National Opera and Ballet”, as well as for other visitors – lovers of folk art.
The exhibition gave a serious overview of some of the most significant activities of the ensemble realized in its 75 years history. The exhibition presents numerous generations of the Ensemble that have left lasting marks in the Macedonian music culture.
In one place are preserved more than 500 recordings (photos, press clipping, etc.), which are a confirmation of the great success of the Ensemble “Orce Nikolov” – Skopje and the Macedonian folklore on the domestic and international folklore scene.
